Many interesting pedigrees have assigned this man as a progenitor, especially families in USA.
Information about this family does not appear to be as readily available online as with other Wrights say from Essex or Yorkshire. The DNA matches seem to hint at this person in so many Ancestry family trees having a connection to us, that any evidence I can collect is below. Edward Wright is a name very common in the vicinity of Castle Bromwich in that era. None is recognised as being either landed gentry, having a title, or being the holder of the estate of Castle Bromwich. Edward’s progeny is said to have sailed to America around 1640 although no passenger lists have identified him to date, and thence settled at Sudbury outside Boston, Massachusetts.
