Moving into our new BSF building in September 2012, was exciting yet somewhat puzzling and unbelievably demanding on those of us on the ground floor. Few science labs, and just as few classrooms, coupled with open seminar spaces, breakout spaces, and probably 160 more maths lessons than when the building plans were put onto paper by the architect team, have again forced the Mathematics Team to be creative – inspirational – dedicated – in ensuring students have still experienced quality lessons every time they have been timetabled for maths.
The consequence of this upheaval has been to raise our game through Team Teaching. Love it or Hate it – unless we get one classroom each, it is a development here to stay.
P.s. I love it.
